ScribeNet technology is compatible with all computer systems available today.
Digital Voice Recorders
With the use of portable digital handheld recorders (Olympus, Uher, Sony, Voice-it, etc.) and ScribeNet’s web-enabled File Management system (SFM, see below), our clients are able to manage their dictations and finished transcriptions through an easy to use and very secure web-based interface. We encourage the use of digital voice recorders (DVRs) for reasons of
- Mobility - you need not be confined near a telephone to do your dictation. In fact you can do it anytime, anywhere.
- Clarity - digital voice recordings have superior quality compared to analog recording machines thus eliminating vagueness and increasing the accuracy of dictations.
- Simplicity - after recording dictations, you simply plug the DVR into your personal computers (PC) and download your dictations as electronic audio files to your hard disk.
